The Keowee Fire Department is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge
Mountains in the Upstate of South  Carolina.   We proudly serve a 30
square mile area protecting  a population of approximately 4000
people.

Keowee Fire Department covers several residential communities
including Keowee Key, Keowee Harbours, The Cove, Craggmore,
Waterford, Waterford Pointe, Waterford Ridge, Waterford Farms,
Wynward Pointe, and portions of Keowee Falls South.  The largest is
Keowee Key which includes 1500 acres of rolling woodlands with
approximately 2200 home-sites, 2 marinas, and 300 multi-family units.
The Fire Department also protects several commercial establishments,
2 churches, and Duke Energy Nuclear Site.

Mission Statement

All members of the Keowee Fire District; commissioners, officers,
and firefighters shall work as a team in a professional manner to
protect the lives, property, and the environment of the property
owners of the Keowee Fire District.  The team will actively represent
the district, serve as role models and
strive  to effectively and efficiently employ all  necessary resources
to provide a fire protection service deemed excellent by the people
we serve.
